INdependent reading book response

The book Youth in Revolt is full of lying and suspense. The main character, Nick Twisp, lives with his mom and the man she is dating at the time(through out the book his mom has many boyfriends). Nick's life changes when he goes on a family vacation to the beach with his mom and her boyfriend Jimmy at the time. When they get to the beach he meets a girl named Sheene Sanders. At first she doesn't notice him then she started to really like him and they started to hang out. When its time for him to leave they exchange numbers and he went back home, when they talk on the phone he relizes that something is wrong so to impress her ne dicides to blow up a building. Because of his actions he has to go move in with his dad who lives near Sheene, but when he goes there he finds out that Sheene is in a boarding school and is now over 100 miles away. This is the end of the first book.
