Paintings

In Claude Monet's Lily Pond, there is a sense of peace. By the way the colors blend with each other and work so well to give the painting the feeling of timelessness. The way the water stays at bay gives you the feeling that no single person has ever been to this spot, but then you see the bridge and you know that people have been there. The lilies stand out from all else, as they are brighter then everything around them. The shading and the way light is hitting the grass you can also tell that it is sunny outside  As you move your eyes to the left, it slowly begins to become dark, giving you the feeling that it might be spring and it is cool outside. These are some things that you can  interpret from this painting.
